Activity Description
Examine the common case scenarios of IBD to better understand how specific therapies to aid in the treatment of mild to severe disease. Formulate an optimal multidisciplinary treatment plan for patients with inflammatory bowel disease based on Guidelines as per the American Gastroenterological Association. Assess common IBD mimics in patients with abdominal pain and diarrhea that may improve early diagnosis, patient management, and outcomes.
Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Examine the common case scenarios of IBD to better understand how specific therapies to aid in the treatment of mild to severe disease.
