This course is designed to provide radiologists with an in-depth understanding of ultrasound-guided breast biopsies. Participants will review the indications for ultrasound-guided breast biopsy, as well as basic and advanced techniques in US-guided biopsy in breast and lymph nodes. The risks and alternatives associated with the procedure will be discussed, as well as the consent process and the concept of compassionate consent. The course includes some case reviews.
