Clinical X-Ray Fundamentals for the Urgent Care Provider program begins with basic best practices and elementary training. The course proceeds with more and more complex cases, featuring 25 x-ray teaching cases that are commonly present within urgent care. The cases focus on the interpretation and diagnosis of these common patient presentations. At subsequent 6-month intervals, an additional 15 teaching cases will be released for purchase.,Learning Objectives:,After participating in this activity participants will be able to:,• Increase competency on radiology interpretation using common urgent care case presentations,• Describe the principles and management of common urgencies and emergencies or occupational injury while communicating the standardized course of treatment.,• Appropriately manage disposition and follow-up of the urgent care patient.,• Ensure safe evaluation and management of the urgent care patient by identifying “red flags” for conditions at high risk for complication and bad outcomes.
