This microlearning webinar will leverage a dynamic and engaging case-based format to reinforce practical pearls and real-world strategies for integrating IV iron into the women’s health clinic. Common challenges and FAQs will be addressed by expert faculty, and long-held misperceptions about IV iron will be debunked on the strength of established and emerging data. Patient-centric and evidence-driven approaches to IDA management will be a central theme.
Learning Objectives:
After participating in the activity, learners should be better able to:
• Analyze practical principles of IV iron implementation in the women’s health setting, to include dosing, administration, adverse event mitigation and management, and patient-centric communication.
• Using an animated whiteboard patient case, design evidence-supported management strategies for recognizing, diagnosing, evaluating, and treating IDA across a variety of women’s health clinical scenarios
