Pharmacists play an important role in helping patients prevent and treat sexually transmitted infections (STI), particularly as rates rise across the country. This course will teach you how to take a sexual history to screen your patients, utilize the appropriate drug and dose to treat the most common STIs and work with patients and the healthcare team to implement important clinical guidelines in practice.
Objectives:

• Select the appropriate drug and dose for the treatment of a patient with uncomplicated gonorrhea
• Recommend the appropriate drug, dose, and duration of therapy for the treatment of a patient with chlamydia
