This 15-minute radiology CME covers acute stroke and perfusion imaging. Part three of this series focuses on case presentations, specifically non-ischemic pathologies as visualized on CT perfusion imaging.
Learning Objectives:
• Learn the essential sequences in perfusion imaging and the specific physiologic/clinical parameter each depicts.
• Distinguish between perfusion abnormalities and alterations caused by non-ischemic pathologies such as tumor, seizure, and ICH.
• Identify the critical imaging characteristics of salvageable brain tissue in the setting of acute stroke.
