MRI Training Course for Technologists (Oct 20 - 26, 2024)
MRI Training Course for Technologists is organized by Medical Technology Management Institute (MTMI) and will be held from Oct 20 - 26, 2024.
Description:
This 7-day online or in-person MRI course provides a comprehensive learning experience. Students will study the basic principles and concepts of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), techniques in manipulating MR parameters to optimize image quality, pulse sequences, artifacts, patient education, screening and safety considerations, anatomy and physiology, case studies, MR protocols and more.
Training is provided by experienced MRI instructors and you will gain a complete set of skills to begin a promising career in the field of MRI, which continues to have a significant impact on medicine. Knowledge of MRI technology will provide a basis for growth and future opportunities for those trained in this modality.
You should attend this MRI program if you are a radiologic technologist or if you have experience in the imaging sciences with basic or no previous MR experience. If you are interested in learning the principles necessary to operate an MR scanner to its optimal level, this program is for you.
Educational Objectives:
At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
• Explain and review the basic principles of magnetic resonance imaging
• Utilize appropriate MR pulse sequences in clinical imaging
• Recognize and minimize MRI artifacts
• Incorporate current knowledge of biological effects and safety considerations when working in the MR environment
• Describe techniques in manipulating MR parameters to optimize image quality
