Overview:
Exparel is an extended release encapsulated Bupivacaine, which can numb an area of the body to relieve pain after surgery or medical procedures, and dental procedures. As an oral maxillofacial surgeon, Dr McLelland's experience with using Exparel proves its success in reducing opioid use. In this course you will learn about how Exparel can help reduce the opioid epidemic, and how to integrate Exparel into your clinic's routine without losing money. Part 1 is broken down into roughly 10 minute segments detailing Exparel and how it can help you, as well as how to apply it and save money doing so. Part 2 has one short segment on how to expand Exparel correctly. Also included is bonus materials that incorporates: an Exparel fact sheet to help explain Exparel to clients, an Exparel post op medical instructions chart, and materials and supplies list for expanding Exparel.
