Description:
This course is designed to provide radiologists with a comprehensive overview of the role of imaging in the management of breast cancer. We will discuss the importance of imaging in sequencing and appropriate regimen selection for all subtypes of breast cancer, including HR+HER2- BC, where genomic testing may be used in conjunction with imaging and pathology. We will also explore the use of MRI and PET imaging to assess disease burden in TBC and to identify patients who may benefit from neoadjuvant chemoimmunotherapy. Finally, we will discuss the potential of imaging to monitor disease response and adapt therapy accordingly through escalation/de-escalation strategies.
• Learn about advances in medical management of early-stage breast cancer
• Understand how imaging advances can affect management
• Explore escalation/de-escalation strategies incorporating imaging
