Learning Objectives:,Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:,• Characterize the pathophysiologic, clinical, cytogenetic, and molecular profiles that guide individualized selective therapies for patients with AML,• Plan evidence-based therapeutic strategies for older patients, those with preexisting comorbidities, and/or those with secondary AML using novel targeted agents or formulations and refinements of conventional chemotherapy,• Select optimal maintenance treatment following induction therapy for patients who are not candidates for, or who choose not to proceed to, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation,• Develop personalized treatment plans for therapeutically targetable molecular subsets of AML,• Discuss with patients the clinical evidence and guideline recommendations on the detection of measurable residual disease (MRD) and the association with a higher relapse rate and worse survival in AML,,Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
