This webinar will help you better understand the code of ethics of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, where to find it, as well as focus on reporting procedures and how they are handled. Additionally, the webinar will go over the six-step "AND’s Approach to Ethical Decision Making"---a guide for dealing with difficult patient situations.
Upon successful completion of this one-hour course, the participant should be able to:
- Locate the most recent Code of Ethics set forth by the Academy.
- Identify when someone’s actions are unethical in the workplace.
- Understand the complete reporting and investigation process for ethical complaints.
- Follow AND’s Approach to Ethical Decision-Making when dealing with patients.
