Weekend micro-class, on-site scan lab open during the evening for independent practice.,,This live hands-on COVID/FATE ultrasound course targets the lungs and heart exclusively, to set your Department’s COVID protocol on a competent, secure course. COVID presents three acute challenges: triage, progression, and cardiac function. Topics anchor around pulmonary inflation, exudation/consolidation, and biventricular function.,,Together, we’ll build an exacting protocol, current interpretive criteria, and standardized verbiage for reporting. A maximum of six learners is accepted. All teaching is held at the bedside, permitting twelve hours of guided instruction, plus another sixteen hours’ access to our Scan Lab for your independent practice on yourself and class peers.
