Contemporary Treatment of Endometrial Cancer: An In the Clinic Activity

Over View:,The treatment options for advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer (EC) have changed dramatically in the last five years. Molecular testing to identify patients that could benefit from targeted treatments are now recommended for all patients. Choosing the optimal treatment can be complex as treatment planning must consider molecular signatures, safety and efficacy data, patient and tumor characteristics, and guideline recommendations. ,,Learning Objectives:,Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:,• Elucidate the necessity for genetic and molecular testing to aid in selecting appropriate monotherapeutic or combination treatment options to improve survival outcomes in patients with advanced or recurrent EC,• Devise a strategy to incorporate recently approved or emerging treatment options for patients with advanced or recurrent EC based on clinical trial findings,• Identify and monitor for, as well as manage and mitigate against, adverse reactions that can be caused by treatments that were recently approved for advanced or recurrent EC,Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
