Objectives:
As a result of participating in this activity, participants should be able to:
• Describe brain changes related to aging;
• Recognize clinical symptoms and cognitive disturbances of the depression-executive dysfunction syndrome of late life;
• Describe pathophysiological events leading to vascular depression;
• Identify predictors of suicidal ideation in older adults with major depression treated with psychotherapy.
