57th Annual Meeting of the German Society for Transfusion Medicine and Immunohematology (DGTI) together with the 31st Annual Meeting of the German Society for Immunogenetics (DGI) is organized by Conventus Congressmanagement & Marketing GmbH and will be held from Sep 11 - 13, 2024 at CCD Congress Center Dusseldorf, Dusseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

Description:
Interdisciplinary cooperation and collaboration are the focus of this event. We would particularly like to further expand the neighborly approach of “Neighbor Day”. Therefore, in 2024, due to the location of the event location and the many years of experience of the organizing institutes at the University Hospitals in Essen and Düsseldorf, the focus will be on international collaboration with colleagues in the nearby Netherlands. Plenary sessions are organized in cooperation with, for example, Eurotransplant, the EBMT, and Sanquin. In addition to the classic topics of transfusion medicine, immunogenetics in particular is addressed. Other important topics will include innovative new cell therapies as well as current developments and challenges brought about by the rapidly expanding field of artificial intelligence.

The congress program will offer an attractive mix of current science and practice-oriented further training, not only for young doctors and scientists but especially for non-scientific employees. A joint congress in particular creates ideal conditions for a lively interdisciplinary exchange and enables intensive communication and networking between the congress participants and also with the exhibiting industry, which will, as usual, be intensively integrated into the congress events.
