Dr. Collins is a national and international speaker and author, and has presented on dental caries, xerostomia, biofilm, disease prevention, dentifrices, infection control, and tobacco cessation. She has given presentations in North America, Europe, the Pacific Rim and the Middle East. She has also participated as a faculty member at OSAP Boot Camps. Dr. Collins is a member of the American Dental Association and is the ADA representative to AAMI. She is also a member of the American Association for Dental Research, ADA Standards Committee working groups, the Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP), and is a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy. During her career, Fiona has lived and worked in five countries. Dr. Collins graduated as a general dentist from the University of Glasgow in Scotland, and holds an MBA and an MA from Boston University.
