Caitlin Musgrave Mardis, PharmD, BCPS, is the Director of Continuing Education and Professional Development and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Outcomes Sciences at the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy in Columbia, South Carolina. Dr. Mardis graduated from the Columbia campus of the South Carolina College of Pharmacy and completed a PGY1 pharmacy practice and PGY2 solid organ transplantation residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. Prior to returning to the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy as a faculty member, Dr. Mardis practiced as a solid organ transplant clinical specialist at Virginia Commonwealth University and at the Medical University of South Carolina and served as the Assistant Director of Transplant Quality and Compliance at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Mardis teaches within the didactic curriculum, course coordinates a solid organ transplantation elective and the capstone clinical seminar course, and co-coordinates a third-year clinical assessment laboratory course. As the Director of Continuing Education, Dr. Mardis leads the College's CE/CPD program to provide lifelong learning opportunities for alumni, preceptors, and the pharmacy community.
