These national guidelines aim to help all Americans follow a healthy eating pattern at every stage of life. These updated guidelines help influence the lessons in the curriculum that is used to deliver the National Diabetes Prevention Program as well as can be used as a tool for lifestyle coaches to help guide and support DPP participants in making health-promoting choices.
