Class Overview:
The fourth installment in the What the Cup series follows the same magic as What the Cup 3 and focuses on the use of foundational principles combined with intermediate and advanced combination treatments for the purpose of resolving pain and dysfunction associated with orthopedic lower extremity injuries. Topics include but are in no way limited to plantar fasciitis, piriformis syndrome and hamstring strains.
Tissue Issues:
When an injury occurs, the body initiates a cascade of healing processes in attempts to fix the injured area. The aftermath of this injury/healing cycle often leaves swelling, torn, stretched or damaged tissues, adhesions, pain, limited motion and a host of other complications. Reducing ‘tissue issues’ is the main goal to eliminating pain and impairments. Cupping therapy effectively and efficiently reduces these issues and restores proper function to the movement system.
