The purpose of this program is to provide information on Muslim culture and health care delivery considerations for this population. The learner will walk away with an increased knowledge and awareness to intracultural and religious variances with the Muslim population.

Program Objectives:
• Identify how a Muslim may perceive medical clinicians in hospital environments
• Explain what you can say, or do, to acknowledge the patient's belief system
• Express an increase in your confidence and sensitivity to intra-cultural and religious variances within the Muslim population
