Course Description: 
This activity will identify different contributors of inflammation in the CKD population as well as focusing on nutrition interventions to address these contributing factors. This activity will also address different to ways to incorporate anti-inflammatory foods into the renal diet by getting away from the traditional renal diet.

Learning Objectives:
• Recognize albumin function and role with malnutrition in CKD
• Identify and understand unique sources of inflammation in CKD
• Utilize evidence for possible nutrition therapy options for reducing inflammation in CKD
