The Sacroiliac Joint in the Low Back Pain and Pelvic Pain Spectrum is organized by Northeast College of Health Sciences.
Description:
The involvement of the sacroiliac joint in the broader spectrum of low back and pelvic pain has long been controversial. This course examines the role of this joint in that spectrum and the pathomechanics that are involved. The SI joint derives its stability from both its anatomical features and dynamic muscle activity. The contribution of each varies throughout the cycle of lumbopelvic motion during the gait cycle.
