The last two and a half years have been very challenging for nurses and other healthcare workers due to the COVID-19 pandemic and have contributed to increased levels of moral distress and moral injury among healthcare workers. This CE will provide you with valuable information about suicide prevention, moral resilience, and the importance of including the practice of gratitude as a coping skill.
Session objectives :
• Define terms surrounding the moral injury and moral distress
• Apply the concept of moral resilience to decrease the risk of suicide
• Synthesize a beginning gratitude practice to build personal coping skills.
