Course Description:
Stretching is a commonly used tool to prevent and rehabilitate sports injuries. Athletes and non-athletes of both genders and all ages can benefit from the proper application of passive and active stretching techniques. Stretching is a procedure that may help improve an athlete’s posture, movement, and musculoskeletal function. This two-hour class describes in detail passive and active stretching techniques that chiropractors can use in their offices or can use as patient education to improve patient outcome measures.
