Description :
Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer in those who have never smoked and the second leading cause of lung cancer after smoking. Module 2 introduces the basic properties and characteristics of radon, how it enters buildings, and how radon levels vary by location.

Objectives :
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
• Describe the importance of geology in radon origin and transportation.
• Describe how radon enters buildings.
• Discuss the causes of indoor radon variability.
