Skills Course: Rigid Bronchoscopy 2024 is organized by European Respiratory Society (ERS) and will be held from Jun 05 - 08, 2024 at CIRCLE, Marseille, Bouches-du-Rhone, France.

Description:
This course is dedicated to developing participants’ skills and knowledge in the field of rigid bronchoscopy, which is the basis of interventional therapeutic bronchoscopy. After a necessary reminder of the anatomy of the larynx, airways, and mediastinum as, well as different pathologies and clinical situations leading to the use of rigid bronchoscopy, this course will focus on stent loading and insertion, and other methods used for tracheobronchial desobstructions.

During the workshops, participants will use animal models and mannequins to develop their practical skills. Participants will be tutored in groups of three to allow interactive learning.

An application will be submitted to the European Board for Accreditation in Pneumology (EBAP) for CME accreditation of this event. The number of credits that you will receive corresponds to your attendance during the onsite course. Please note that you need to sign the register of attendance each day to ensure that you receive the CME credits.
