Description:
This workshop will provide participants with contemporary learning environments designed around guided scenario based activities. The training includes technical and non-technical skills with a focus on team communication and improving emergency anaesthetic skills for clinicians practicing in Rural & Remote environments.
The training scenarios (based on the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) emergency response activities) include can't intubate/can't oxygenate; management of haemorrhage; management of anaphylaxis; and severe behavioural disturbance.
This program will guide participants through the current guidelines, review pharmacological options and considerations, and enable real world practical skills development in a constructive and supportive environment.
