Overview:
This course will review in detail both the radicular anatomy and physiologic reasons for unusual and difficult-to-treat anatomy. Strategies for dealing with natural root canal spaces will be reviewed, and many conventional approaches will be questioned.
Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to achieve the following:
• Understand how the development of the tooth leads to various anatomical conditions.
• Understand how injury to the pulp affects the location and amount of tertiary dentin.
• Know which difficulties arise during endodontic therapy due to anatomy.
• Learn techniques and principles to overcome the limitations of our current approaches.
