Course Description:
Exercises to increase foot, ankle, and lower leg strength, mobility, and stability are necessary for lifelong sports participation. Foot, ankle, and lower leg injuries are common in all sports. The injuries are performance-limiting conditions and have a high recurrence rate. Proper rehabilitation is vital. This course contains a review of the anatomy and physiology of the foot, ankle, and lower leg. The two-hour class details exercise to prevent and rehabilitate foot, ankle, and lower leg injuries. The program describes in-depth patient education strategies for the prevention and rehabilitation of foot, ankle, and lower leg injuries.
