Radiation protection for nuclear radiologists-2023 is organized by LUMC Boerhaave Continuing Medical Education (CME) and will be held from Nov 20 - 24, 2023 at Golden Tulip & Tulip Inn Leiden Centre, Leiden, South Holland, Netherlands.,Course Duration: (Nov 20 - 24, Dec13, 2023) - 6 days,Description:,Due to regulations (Individual Health Care Professions Act, BIG Act), the examination or treatment of patients with ionizing radiation is a so-called reserved action, which requires, among other things, formal radiation expertise (Radiation Protection Basic Safety Standards Decree, Bbs). This course specifically trains for the mandatory additional radiation expertise for the differentiation of Nuclear Radiology of the radiologist training. It is assumed that participants have already obtained the diploma “Radiation Hygiene for Radiologists”. The course content has been determined by the course committee of Boerhaave Refresher Training, in consultation with representatives of the professional associations and partly on the basis of requirements stated by the government.,Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
