Description:
This webinar will consider the issues that are driving the debate around ever higher insertion torques in implant dentistry to maximize primary stability versus the potential for over-compression and the build-up of strains within dynamic vital tissue structures leading to resorption and early intrinsic viscoelastic rebound, which in turn could lead to loss of mechanical stability.
Dr. Norton will present a rationale for implant design and surgical technique utilizing a sound knowledge base to derive appropriate target levels for both insertion torque and resonance frequency (ISQ) based on an already well established biomechanical concept that has proven to maintain marginal bone over the long-term.
Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
