This webinar focuses on the prevention of Repetitive strain injuries (RSIs) in the dental profession. RSIs are injuries of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems that are caused by repetitive tasks, such as periodontal instrumentation. Being a very common problem among dental professionals, especially among dental hygienists, there are ergonomic considerations for periodontal instrumentation in order to prevent RSIs. Instruments for periodontal instrumentation can also have an effect on the development or prevention of these injuries.
