Many options exist for implant planning and surgical workflows. As we understand more about the advantages of guided implant surgery, the options for planning and executing these cases can be overwhelming. The purpose of this CE webinar is to provide evidence for the routine use of surgical guides for implant placement and to illustrate the advantages of having those cases be fully restoratively driven. We will discuss a comprehensive strategy to implement this into practice using currently available tools, with an emphasis on speed and efficiency, leading to the possibility of same-appointment planning and surgery. Review of the process will be done step-by-step. By implementing these techniques, the advantages are experienced by the clinician and patient, resulting in predictable, high-quality implant clinical and restorative outcomes.
Upon completion of this CE webinar, the participant will be familiar with the rationale for guided implant surgery with a full digital wax-up, the process and requirements for case planning, and in-office 3D printing of surgical guides.
