Phasing and Sequencing Complex Treatment (Sep 29 - Oct 01, 2024)

Phasing and Sequencing Complex Treatment is organized by Spear Education and will be held from Sep 29 - Oct 01, 2024 at Spear Education, Scottsdale, Arizona, United States of America.
Workshop Overview:
3-Day Lecture/Hands-On:
This course is designed to build on the principles and concepts taught in previous workshops by providing practical applications for larger cases and more complex treatment. Based on the patient’s needs and expectations, comprehensive treatment planning and sequencing often requires that treatment be phased without compromising the overall outcome. In addition to learning to treat large, complex cases all at once, a systematic approach will be presented to allow the phasing of comprehensive treatment. Presentations and exercises have been designed to relate the principles of tooth position, contour and arrangement directly to the esthetic and functional outcome.
What you will learn at this workshop:
• How to plan and sequence comprehensive treatment.
• How to identify where phasing treatment is possible in complex cases.
• Esthetic contour and arrangement.
• Practical applications of occlusal design.
• Predictable outcomes that meet the goals of patient and doctor.
• Determining an appropriate fee that encompasses the complexity of the case.
Topics and exercises:
• Phasing through completion of one arch and equilibration of the other arch
• “Connected” provisionals for long-term temporization
• “Every other” provisionalization technique for long-term temporization
• Recognizing the patterns of wear on selected cases and discussing the impact on planning
• Sequencing the complex case
Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
