Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) helps to minimize the risks involved in dentistry. It also helps to establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment. To ensure the greatest possible protection for employees in the workplace both the employee and the employer are required to have a great understanding of the application and use of PPE.
