Upon successful completion of this knowledge-based CPE course, pharmacy technicians should be able to:
• Identify standard immunizations recommended by the CDC for pediatric patients
• Discuss the different kinds of medications that a patient with asthma may use
• Describe some of the non-pharmacological needs of patients with asthma
• Explain the differences between otitis media, otitis media with effusion, and otitis externa
• Discuss the importance of non-pharmacological management for patients with “strep throat”
