Peanut Allergy Course

The peanut Allergy Course is organized by CareerSmart Learning.

Description:
This course was designed to benefit healthcare, social service, education, and community-based professionals who interface with persons with peanut allergies.

Course objectives include: listing the 8 most common food allergies in the United States; recognizing the signs and symptoms associated with peanut allergy; identifying management options for children and adults with peanut allergies including dietary avoidance techniques and treatment of anaphylaxis; and describing strategies for living with peanut allergy.
