As part of this series, On Demand: Gastroenterology and Hepatology for Primary Care are an online course comprised of recordings from the 2020 conference with an emphasis on practical and useful information for clinical practice.,Gastrointestinal disorders are common in the general population. In the current healthcare arena, the primary care physician has increasingly assumed the role of primary caregiver for patients with many of the most common gastrointestinal ailments. Consequently, it has become clinically important and economically prudent for primary care physicians to become familiar with the management of these disorders and perhaps most importantly when to consult a gastroenterologist.
