Neurology 216: Is Fitness Important to Health

Neurology 216: Is Fitness Important to Health is organized by CCEDSeminars.
Course Overview:
As an educator, practitioner and functional neurologist I travel the world extensively providing lectures, consulting with patients, and professing the benefits of chiropractic to health and longevity. However, I am continuously perplexed and befuddled whenever I ask this question to chiropractors, “is fitness an important part of health?” At first, attendees are thinking that I’m giving them a trick question because the answer appears so obvious. The answer should be “YES”. The follow-up then is if fitness is important, then how does that knowledge affect the clinical examination? This presentation will take a closer look at the chiropractic examination and fitness measures that can be easily implemented in the exam process.

• Discuss clinical applications of fitness measures
• Illustrate in-house applications
