We will discuss the clinical features, diagnostics, and management of food allergies. We will discuss how oral immunotherapy can induce tolerance and the mechanism of tolerance induction. Special focus will be on the new FDA-approved peanut oral immunotherapy product, California, and the processes and procedures for prescribers, healthcare settings, and pharmacists to be aware of to prescribe and dispense California. Finally, we will review other potential future therapies for the management of peanut allergy.,,Learning Objectives :,The target audience for this activity includes pharmacists.
