Introductory Coaching Programmes - Day 1 out of 3 (Jan 10, 2024) is organized by National Centre of Rehabilitation Education (NCORE) and will be held on Jan 10, 2024 at Florence Nightingale Community Hospital, Derby, England, United Kingdom.,,Overview,These 1-day coaching programs are skill-builder introductory courses, developing skills incrementally. They are non-accredited but following completion of the 3 days, plus some additional course work could lead to the ILM L3 Award in Effective Coaching. The basic content of the course is broken down as follows:,,Course Aims,• What is coaching – drivers for coaching, background, opportunities for the organization,• Developing a coaching culture, the difference between coaching and other interventions,• Developing personal emotional detachment – compassionate coaching,• Qualities of a coach, including Johari and other psychometrics,• Learning styles, Kolb, Honey & Mumford, MBTI; and adapting my style to suit the coachee,• Communication & establishing rapport, verbal & non-verbal skills,• What skills do I need to be a good coach?,• Coaching practice – GROW, COACH,,Learning Outcomes,• To gain a greater understanding of what coaching is and isn’t,• To develop an awareness of what makes a great coach,• To begin to develop a range of tools and techniques used in coaching,• To gain an understanding of how coaching connects with the organization,• To begin to develop a sense of ‘me as coach’
