Thyroid dysfunction affects a vast portion of the population. As a patient’s primary healthcare provider, it’s important to have the ability to clearly identify and test for thyroid conditions. This course discusses diagnosis for both hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism, but will focus on the treatment of hypothyroidism. Gain confidence in treating thyroid cases by understanding the disease from both Eastern and Western medicine perspectives.
Participate in an engaging discussion of the modern physiology of thyroid function, its relationship to adrenal fatigue, how to interpret relevant lab testing, and TCM differentiations.
