APRN regulation promotes patient safety but inconsistency in state regulations often creates confusion. Understanding regulation is crucial to APRN role implementation. In this session, a panel with representatives from regulation, education, certification, and practice addresses key issues affecting APRN practice. Topics include the scope of practice, institutional credentialing, Consensus Model adoption, transition to practice requirements, and proposed physician-led teams. There is an opportunity for audience questions.
