Objectives:
The intended result of this activity is increased knowledge/competence, and upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:
• Define who is a "High Acuity" patient
• Review the rehabilitation strategies for high acuity patients
• Explain why almost all of these patients can tolerate three hours of therapy a day
• Identify the misconceptions on the part of healthcare professional regarding high acuity patients.
