THE GAMECHANGER: Post-procedural headaches can be severe and last up to two weeks or longer. Management includes standard pain medications but may require caffeine or the application of a blood patch to prevent dural leaks.
Upon successful completion of this course, learners should be able to:
• Discuss with patients the risk factors and symptoms of post-procedural headache
• Discuss pain management strategies for post-procedural headache
