Overview:
This course is a general overview of the techniques for conservative cast gold restorations as originally developed by Dr. Richard V. Tucker, Sr. Topics presented include: Preparation design for ideal situations, including 7/8 & 3/4 crowns; onlays; inlays in standard configurations; variations in preparation design; tooth preparation using both rotary and hand instrumentation; seating, finishing and polishing procedures.
Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to achieve the following:
• Learn standard preparation design as well as variation in design for particular circumstances
• Learn how to carry out the tooth preparations using both rotary and hand instrumentation00
