Overview:
Proper treatment planning starts with the evaluation of the patient. This CE course will take the participant through the treatment planning process as it relates to evaluation of medical history, radiologic examination and anatomical landmarks with an emphasis on potential issues that may arise. . This is part 2 of a comprehensive series of courses on implants by Dr. Schleshinger that will be released every couple of months on Dentaltown.
Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to achieve the following:
• Understand some of the most common medical conditions that can affect implant treatment
• Exploration of how medications can affect the success of treatment
• Identify the anatomical features which are important to implantology
• Understand the difference between 2D and 3 D radiography
• Identify how and why 3D radiography can demystify treatment planning
