Overview:
This CE course is on treatment planning with Implants. Discussed are the effects of bone quality on implant treatment and understanding how to interpret all of the data gathered during the treatment planning process to help determine what size and where to place your implants. This is part 3 of a comprehensive series of courses on implants by Dr. Schleshinger that will be released every couple of months on Dentaltown.
Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to achieve the following:
• Identify the 4 bone densities and how to address them surgically
• Understand how anatomical and soft tissue consideration affect treatment decisions
• Understanding the importance of the restorative outcome is to the surgical plan
• Become comfortable with the optimum position of implants to enhance treatment outcome
• Have an understanding of the medications and local anesthetics used in treatment
