As such, it is important that providers are aware of the unique needs of this population. This presentation explains basic definitions regarding sexual orientation and gender identity, health disparities experienced by LGBTQIA+ individuals, and considerations for providing culturally sensitive clinical interviews. Additionally, special considerations are provided for neuropsychological testing, including test selection, effects of hormone therapy on mood and cognition, and feedback considerations.,After attending this Online Course, attendees will be able to:,• Recall definitions of sexual orientation and gender identity.,• Describe minority stressors for LGBTQIA+ individuals and subsequent health disparities.,• Integrate culturally sensitive questions related to LGBTQIA+ identities into clinical interviews.,• Identify concerns regarding test selection and feedback in neuropsychological testing for LGBTQIA+ individuals.
