This module will provide the training needed to be comfortable educating patients on aspects of each continuous glucose monitoring system available currently.,,Objectives:,Upon successful completion of this knowledge-based CPE course, pharmacists should be able to:,• Explain the mechanism of continuous glucose monitors (CGM), paying particular attention to explaining why finger stick and CGM readings may differ.,• Summarize the unique features of each continuous glucose monitor available within the US,• Evaluate directional arrows or ambulatory glucose reports and provide guidance to patients to correct their glucose patterns,• Demonstrate ability to teach patients how to use CGM as well as troubleshoot problems that arise
